We welcome those who would like to join our fellowship each and every Sunday during the time of invitation at the end of the worship services. The Pastor and Associate Pastors are ready to receive you (and your family) and will ask you three important questions:
1. Are you a Christian? Another way to ask this question is, “Have you ever had a time in your life where you asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior.”
2. Have you been baptized by immersion?
3. Are you leaving your church on good terms?
You can be presented to the church for membership one of three ways:
1. By profession of faith and for baptism according to the policies of the church
2. By promise of letter from another baptist church
3. Upon statement of prior conversion experience through faith followed by baptism by immersion in a church of like faith.
Appointments can be made with any member of the pastoral staff to answer your questions about joining our church and why we believe these three questions are vitally important. If there are situations that the pastoral staff has a concern about that may require further prayer, thought, or study, or if there is dissent as to any candidate for membership, the person coming for membership is referred to the Pastor and, at his discretion, to the deacons for the making of a recommendation pertaining to membership.
The church office will request an acceptable letter or its substitute from your former church if you meet the above criteria. We will help you find a Bible Fellowship Class where we trust you will “bloom where you are planted” and will become an active participant in the life of this church body.
