The Gathering at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings at CHBC has multiple purposes. It allows us to gather mid week to experience fellowship as we join in Jesus’ name. We are also able to share a time of encouragement through singing (a mixture of traditional Hymns, Southern Gospel, etc.), prayer, and timely messages from God’s word with a time of personal commitment.

The music at the Gathering is coordinated each week by Praise & Worship Pastor David Stewart. On a regular basis he involves talented members of the Celebration Choir to stir us through their Praise in song. The messages are primarily delivered by Congregational Care Pastor David Collins. Using experiences drawn from nearly forty years in the Gospel ministry gives Pastor David an opportunity, with the message from God's word, to touch you where you live.

The ministry will come from those who sit where you sit. As we come together many are encouraged by those who sit alongside them in the pew. The opportunity to share prayer needs and concerns before and after the service helps you to know that others care about you.You have our personal invitation to come and participate with us as we seek each week to make the Gathering always relevant, spirit-filled and joyous.The MUSIC, the MESSAGE, the MINISTRY, it's all at the GATHERING!
